XL hay steamer on gas operation as an alternative for your hay
We've been asked repeatedly whether the Haytuner also works with a generator. Theoretically, this is possible, of course. However, a generator for this purpose is quite expensive. Therefore, we offer the Haytuner XL in a gas-powered version. The gas-powered Haytuner XL runs on a standard 5 kg or 11 kg propane cylinder, which can be purchased at any hardware store. Please note that the Haytuner does not activate or deactivate automatically!
Efficient XL hay steamer on gas operation
The XL hay steamer, which runs on gas, has a power output of 10.5 kW. However, only the lowest setting is needed, resulting in a gas consumption of approximately 400 grams per hour. This means that the L hay steamer, also running on gas, requires an average of about 400 grams per hour annually, while the XL hay steamer requires approximately 600 grams per hour.
Of course, a thermometer is built in so you can check if the required temperature has been reached. All hay steamers can be operated on gas. This means that absolutely anyone can steam their hay, even without electricity!
The Haytuner L and ES L can steam up to 25 kg of hay in HD bales or 15-18 kg of loose hay, and the Haytuner XL and ES XL can handle up to 45 kg of hay in HD bales or 35-38 kg of loose hay.

Counteracting disease
Hay is a key component of our horses' diet, but unfortunately, it can also be a source of dust, mold, and other allergens that can irritate their respiratory systems. This is where hay steaming comes in. Steaming hay kills harmful particles and reduces dust, leading to a significant improvement in air quality. This is especially important for horses with respiratory conditions such as COPD or asthma. Regular use of this method can help minimize respiratory problems and improve your horse's overall health and performance.
Out of love for our horses
Horses are not only loyal companions, but also demanding animals that require special care and attention. Our passion for horses drives us to constantly seek the best solutions for their well-being. Through innovative techniques such as hay steaming, we contribute to significantly improving their quality of life. This dedication is reflected in all our products and services, because we know that only the best is good enough for our beloved four-legged friends. Our love for horses is the driving force behind everything we do and motivates us daily to promote their health and well-being.
